8 SA Celebs who sold theirs souls to the Devil

It is widely believed that selling your soul to the devil can give you great gain of fame and wealth. Usually, the rich and famous are the ones who get accused of being the devil worshipers or the part of the secret evil society of illuminati.

The question is, where is the market where you can make this fortune deal with the devil, as it is believed that some South African rappers and celebrities sold their souls to the devil for fame and riches.

While we do not have answers to that, we are only going to look at the list of South African rappers who are believed to have sold their souls to the devil for fame.

Number 1, Fifi Cooper

This versatile, award-winning singer and rapper has also been accused of being in the Illuminati or at least promoting the cult.

Shortly after her successful career launch in 2015, a fan criticized her for using hand gestures and wearing a cap with an Illuminati sign. Apparently, an inverted triangle symbol can arouse unwarranted suspicion; who knew?

Anyways, Cooper screenshotted the Facebook post and laughed at it, saying, “What’s Illuminati ??

Number 2, Anatii

The ‘Don’t forget to pray’ hitmaker has ironically been accused more than once of selling his soul to the devil. The accusations stem from the symbols he uses in his videos.

Anatii’s 2016 single ‘Jump’ that featured Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C was the starting point of the allegations. One fan commented on the video on Twitter saying, “How long are we gonna ignore the fact that there is the supposed “illuminati” sign in this ‘Jump’ video by Cassper & Anatii ft. Nasty C?”

Apparently, gestures and symbols used in the video were cult-ish.

Number 3, Cassper Nyovest

Cassper Nyovest aka Mufasa, whose net worth is currently estimated at around $8 million, is also a successful businessman and has made his mark in the music production industry, footwear industry, and beverage industry.

While it’s pretty clear that Cassper works hard for his success, not everybody believes that this is true. Some people seem to think that Cassper is using dark forces to get to where he is, accusations that Cassper has denied.

In 2021, a tweep identified as Lucas Manebaneba asked Cassper to enjoy his Illuminati proceeds before his time was up. As his fans came to his defense, Mufasa also got wind of the tweet and clapped back at the tweep, terming the idea as silly and saying that he just works hard and prays.

Number 4, Boity Thulo

The beautiful and talented Boity has also had her share of trolls accusing her of being in the Illuminati.

There was a point in 2013 when Boity followed exactly 666 people on Instagram, and as you might be well aware, the number 666 is usually associated with the cult.

A tweep noticed this coincidence and rushed to the conclusion that Boity was in Illuminati; like Fifi Cooper, Boity just laughed off the whole thing.

Number 5, Emtee

A close friend of Emtee known as Cruz Africa weirdly accused the rapper of being a devil worshiper. At the time of his accusation, Cruz Afrika accused Emtee of having joined Illuminati, and to further support his claim; he said that Emtee had sacrificed one of their friends in exchange for success.

Number 6, AKA

AKA the rapper who died after being assassinated in Durban on 10 February of 2023 is also suspected to have been a member of the Illuminati. These accusations started after Illuminati symbols were shown at his memorial service in Sandton. The image consisted of an eye and was seen in the background screen during ceremony.

Other Twitter users asked, “What was the point of this during #AKAMemorial? #RIPAKA Da Les Sim Dope Yanga #DonDesign Moozlie” and another one said, “AKA was Illuminati and they openly showed it at the memorial service”

A section of Twitter users pointed out that this was evidence that the Illuminati is real and AKA was a member. The sad part is AKA is no longer with us that he can defend himself, perhaps this is just a conspiracy theory.

Number 7, DJ Fresh.

In 2017 DJ Fresh whose real name is Thato Sikwane was accused of being a member of the secret evil society of the Illuminati. The accusations were first seen on a Twitter post published by a fake account of Trevor Noah with a list of South African celebs who are Illuminatis. To the fans’ surprise, DJ Fresh was on that list which was titled ‘List of African stars accused of joining illuminati revealed’.

DJ Fresh laughed off the rumour on Instagram and said he does not regard himself as an illuminati, but rather a khulumanathi (IsiZulu word for ‘speak to us’), for someone who was in radio.

Number 8, Black Coffee

The last one on our list is Black Coffee, a South African DJ who was also accused of joining the Illuminati. The accusations were not straight forward but you could sense the tone that the star was accused of being a devil worshiper.

This happened when a fan asked Black Coffee if he can join him as the member of the Illuminati. But Black Coffee had to re-assure that fan that he wasn’t part of the Illuminati and everything he had achieved was a result of his hard work not of joining the some illuminati so called rich society.
