💰 Remuneration:

✔ Successful candidates will be appointed under the SAPS Act, 1995 (Act No. 68 of 1995).
✔ Appointees will receive applicable service benefits after the probation phase.
🏭 Core Responsibilities:
Upon successful completion of training, your duties will include:
✅ Preventing, combating, and investigating crime
✅ Maintaining public order
✅ Protecting and securing South Africans and their property
✅ Upholding and enforcing the law
📚 Basic Police Development Learning Programme (BPDLP)
Selected applicants will undergo a 21-month training programme, divided into three phases:

✔ SAPS provides free training gear, meals, and accommodation during the Basic Training Phase.
✔ Medical aid benefits will be provided during training.
✔ Successful candidates will be considered for permanent appointment as Constables.
🏰 Placement:
- Training will take place at any SAPS Academy in South Africa.
- Upon completion, candidates will be placed at any Police Station/Unit across South Africa.
💼 Minimum Requirements:
To qualify, applicants must:
🔹 Be a permanent South African resident (proof required)
🔹 Have Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification
🔹 Possess a valid driver’s license (advantageous)
🔹 Be proficient in English and one other official language
🔹 Be 18 – 35 years old (proof required)
🔹 Have no criminal record (background checks will be conducted)
🔹 Have no visible tattoos when in uniform
🔹 Be physically and mentally fit (medical and psychological assessments required)
🔹 Be willing to serve anywhere in South Africa
📊 Selection Process:
✔ Applicants must pass fitness, psychometric, and integrity tests.
✔ Medical evaluation and interviews will be conducted.
✔ Qualification verification, citizenship, and address checks will be done.
✔ Applicants with previous government dismissal due to misconduct will not be considered.
✔ Those with chronic illnesses or physical impairments that hinder training may be excluded.
