π Position Overview
π Job Title: Police Trainee

π° Remuneration:
β Institutional Phase (Training): Stipend of R4,500 per month πΈ
β Probation Phase: Salary of R216,033 per annum π°

π Roles & Responsibilities
Upon completion of training, police trainees will be responsible for:
β Crime prevention, combat, and investigation π
β Maintaining public order π
β Ensuring the protection and security of citizens and their property π
β Upholding and enforcing South African laws π
π Basic Police Development Learning Programme (BPDLP)
Trainees will undergo a 21-month structured training program, which includes:
π Induction Phase (1 Month): Orientation and training at a designated police station.
π Basic Training Phase (6 β 8 Months): Formal training at a SAPS Academy. π
π Probation Phase (12 Months): Practical workplace exposure under the guidance of experienced officers.

β Possess a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate π
β Be proficient in English and one other official language π£οΈ
β Be between 18 and 35 years old π
β Have no criminal record π«
β Be physically and mentally fit for service πͺπ§
β Not have visible tattoos when wearing a SAPS uniform π
β Pass medical, psychological, and fitness assessments π
β Be willing to serve anywhere in South Africa π
