💰 Remuneration:
✔ Institutional Phase (Training): Stipend of R4,500 per month 💸
✔ Probation Phase: Salary of R216,033 per annum 💰

🏅 Roles & Responsibilities
Upon completion of training, police trainees will be responsible for:
✔ Crime prevention, combat, and investigation 🔍
✔ Maintaining public order 🚔
✔ Ensuring the protection and security of citizens and their property 🏠
✔ Upholding and enforcing South African laws 📜
🎓 Basic Police Development Learning Programme (BPDLP)
Trainees will undergo a 21-month structured training program, which includes:
📌 Induction Phase (1 Month): Orientation and training at a designated police station.
📌 Basic Training Phase (6 – 8 Months): Formal training at a SAPS Academy. 📚
📌 Probation Phase (12 Months): Practical workplace exposure under the guidance of experienced officers.

✅ Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the SAPS Trainee Programme, applicants must:
✔ Be a South African citizen and permanent resident 🇿🇦
✔ Possess a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate 🎓
✔ Be proficient in English and one other official language 🗣️
✔ Be between 18 and 35 years old 📆
✔ Have no criminal record 🚫
✔ Be physically and mentally fit for service 💪🧠
✔ Not have visible tattoos when wearing a SAPS uniform 👕
✔ Pass medical, psychological, and fitness assessments 🏃
✔ Be willing to serve anywhere in South Africa 🌍
