Position: Warehouse Attendant
📍 Location: Queenstown Depot (Komani), Eastern Cape
📆 Application Deadline: 07 February 2025
Key Responsibilities
✅ Loading & Offloading: Safely load and unload palletised cement and bulk materials, ensuring proper weight distribution as per road regulations.
✅ Stock & Pallet Management: Maintain correct stacking of products in the warehouse and keep an accurate stock record.
✅ Product Handling: Ensure the correct type, packaging, and quantity of products are dispatched per company guidelines.
✅ Reporting: Report any breakages, damaged products, or missing stock to management immediately.
✅ Repacking: Assist with re-bagging and repacking of cement following company safety and quality standards.
✅ Forklift Operation: Use forklifts safely and efficiently for warehouse operations.
✅ Safety Compliance: Follow strict Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Minimum Requirements
📜 Educational Qualifications:
✔ Grade 12 / Amended Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4 / Technical Matric (N3 with 4 technical subjects & 2 official languages).
🎯 Experience Required:
✔ At least one (1) year of experience in a similar warehouse role.
✔ Experience handling bulk materials and operating warehouse equipment.
🎓 Certification & Licensing:
✔ Valid 8-ton forklift driver’s license (essential).
Essential Skills & Knowledge
🔹 Forklift Operation: Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
🔹 Stock & Bulk Handling: Familiarity with bulk material handling and warehouse logistics.
🔹 Pallet Stacking: Knowledge of proper stacking and storage techniques.
🔹 Health & Safety Compliance: Awareness of warehouse safety protocols and environmental risks.
