Zimbabwean MMA fighter Themba Gorimbo is ecstatic after linking up with South African legendary actress Connie Ferguson. Currently in South Africa, Gorimbo had the opportunity to meet the media mogul and fitness icon at the gym.

Themba Gorimbo Shares Excitement Over Meeting Connie Ferguson

Posting on his Instagram account, Themba Gorimbo shared pictures of his encounter with Connie Ferguson. Captioning the photos, he mentioned hanging out with the actress before heading back to work and revealed his dream of starring in one of her movies.

“God’s plan. Hanging around the star @connie_ferguson before heading back to work. Maybe just maybe I can star in one of her movies as a bouncer or something 😝. Childhood dream and I will have one person very pissed off today 😂 (my wife 😂 she wished to be the one taking the pic with the legendary actress),” Gorimbo wrote.

In a short video clip, Gorimbo jokingly addressed his wife at home, telling her that Connie Ferguson is the reason he’s staying longer in South Africa.

Commenting on Gorimbo’s post, Connie Ferguson expressed her pleasure in meeting him and sent her regards to his wife.

Gorimbo’s Philanthropic Endeavors

Meanwhile, Themba Gorimbo has embarked on a philanthropic project to build a solar-powered library with free internet for kids in his rural area of Bikita, Masvingo Province. Sharing pictures of the library under construction on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Gorimbo highlighted the project’s benefits for the local community.

“PHASE 1 of my village library project here in Zimbabwe is complete. Foundation done and first brickwork has started. This library is going to help all young kids who live in the village to study at night because it is solar-powered and offers 24-hour access to anyone and everyone who wishes to study and be something in life. This project will help provide free internet access too to the villagers,” Gorimbo explained.
