Anwar “Dogg” Khan, the bodyguard of the late rapper KA, whose real name was Kiernan Forbes, has come forward with more details shedding light on the tragic events of that fateful night when the rapper was fatally shot alongside his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.

In a recent interview on The Load Shed podcast, Khan, who was not present with AKA on the night of February 10, 2023, pointed out significant lapses in security protocols that may have contributed to the tragedy.

According to Khan, there were clear breaches in protocol that allowed the perpetrators to exploit vulnerabilities in the security arrangements. He emphasized how those behind the attack appeared to have a strategic plan in place, capitalizing on the weaknesses in AKA’s security detail.

Highlighting the crucial moment of the attack, Khan expressed how the absence of vigilant security measures and the unexpected movements of AKA and his friend created an opening for the assailants. He lamented the lack of adequate security measures, suggesting that even if he had been present, the outcome might not have been different given the circumstances.

He suggested that had he been present, such breaches could have been avoided, emphasizing the importance of adhering to established procedures to prevent such tragedies.
